Know what is being measured
The URL scan renders the page’s HTML, styles, responsive images, and common lazy-loaded images at your selected width. Site scripts are paused, so animated layouts, app-built pages, galleries, and images revealed by interaction may differ or be missing.
Dimensions apply to the selected viewport. 2× and 3× are export targets, not a change to your screen’s pixel density. Image roles are detected heuristically; use the dropdown to correct them.
Measure the live page in Chrome
Drag this button to your desktop browser’s bookmarks bar. Open the original webpage, then click the bookmark to overlay live sizes. Scroll to load images and use Rescan. For mobile, set Chrome’s device toolbar to the desired width first.
Live image inspectorThe live inspector runs in your browser and does not send page content to us. Some websites may block bookmarklets. It measures visible assets; open additional slides or galleries and rescan.
